The Job 

A typical day for a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn starts around 8am when you receive your list of rooms to clean for the day. You will clean approximately 2-3 rooms per hour independently. The Breakfast Attendant sets-up, maintains, and breaks down the breakfast buffet and assists the guests as needed to ensure that all foods are properly served while providing guests with excellent customer service.

Essential Functions

  • Set-up buffet according to procedures and brand standards
  • Maintain buffet throughout the service period, restock buffet items as needed and have all food items and utensils out in a timely manner.

Lifeguard/Swim Instructor

Company: Hilton Head Island Recreation Association
Location: Hilton Head Island, SC

The expectations for a Rec Center Lifeguard and Swim Instructor are diverse and vital to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. During your shift, you will spend 30 minutes per hour on a shaded lifeguard stand while guarding. If you are swim instructing you will have no lessons longer than 30 minutes and are given a break after said session. When not on duty, you may assist with pool deck cleaning and other tasks to ensure the facility remains in top condition. Punctuality is essential, as our weekday hours range from 5:15 am to 8 pm. A Red Cross Lifeguard certification is required, but we offer certification opportunities if you're not yet certified. Uniforms and equipment will be provided at no cost.
