Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sign Shop Table Worker to
support our sign production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for preparing, assembling, and finishing signs, working closely with our
production team to ensure the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, assembly, and finishing of various types of signs.
- Measure and cut materials such as vinyl, acrylic, and metal to specified dimensions.
- Apply vinyl graphics and lettering to sign substrates.
- Assemble sign components using adhesives, screws, and other fasteners.
- Perform quality checks on finished signs to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of sign production processes and materials.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sign shop or manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with potential for overtime.
- Work involves standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must adhere to safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
