Job Title: Assistant Restaurant General Manager

Position Overview: The Sea Pines Resort is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and driving profitability. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support: Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, and food safety compliance.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and mentor staff members to maintain high standards of service and performance. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional guest service by addressing complaints and feedback, and creating a welcoming environment. Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements as necessary.
Financial Oversight: Assist in budgeting and financial management, including monitoring sales, costs, and profitability. Help implement strategies to drive revenue and reduce expenses.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the restaurant is well-stocked and operationally efficient.
Sales and Marketing: Collaborate on marketing initiatives and promotions to attract and retain customers. Analyze sales trends and develop strategies to increase revenue.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a management role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of financial management and budgeting principles.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
